Thomas Littlejohn, III, M.D. is an entrepreneur, as well as co-owner and Medical Director of Piedmont Medical Research Group (PMR), one of the largest independent research sites in the United States.
In addition to many prestigious academic and administrative appointments, Dr. Littlejohn has been an active member of numerous medical committees and organizations throughout his career. He has authored/co-authored over 20 research articles for publications and conferences such as JAMA and the European Congress of Rheumatology.
Dr. Littlejohn brings over 20 years experience as a primary investigator in clinical trials. Currently, with 350 on-going trials, PMG is enrolling subjects on behalf of twelve major pharmaceutical companies and twelve contract research organizations (CROs).
CEO - Doug Pierce
Doug Pierce is an entrepreneur and co-founder of Piermed, Inc., a documentation solutions company for the medical community since 1991 with customers throughout the United States.
With over 15 years experience in forms design, web portal design and medical workflow solutions, Mr. Pierce is well versed in mobile data capture and digital forms technology.
In addition, Mr. Pierce brings expertise in capital development, marketing and sales in the clinical trials market.
