CEO - Doug Pierce
Doug Pierce is an entrepreneur and co-founder of Piermed, Inc., a documentation solutions company for the medical community since 1991 with customers throughout the United States.
With over 15 years experience in forms design, web portal design and medical workflow solutions, Mr. Pierce is well versed in mobile data capture and digital forms technology.
In addition, Mr. Pierce brings expertise in capital development, marketing and sales in the clinical trials market.
President - Ed Seguine
Ed Seguine has spent the last 12 years as a senior executive, consultant, and investor in both life science technology companies as well as big pharma. He brings deep operational, commercial, and financial experience to Clinical Ink. Prior to joining Clinical Ink, Mr. Seguine was General Manager - Trial Planning at Medidata Solutions and CEO of Fast Track Systems where he successfully refocused the company on new products prior to engineering the acquisition by Medidata. While at Eli Lilly he helped establish their technology and biotech venture capital groups - e.Lilly and Lilly Ventures.
Mr. Seguine has been intimately involved with key industry initiatives (CDISC), is a frequent presenter at industry events, and publishes regularly. He earned a BS in Finance from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Indiana University.
Medical Director, Chairman of the Board - Thomas Littlejohn, III, M.D.
Thomas Littlejohn, III, M.D. is an entrepreneur, as well as co-owner and Medical Director of Piedmont Medical Group (PMG), an Integrated Site Network (ISN) of clinical research facilities in the United States.
In addition to many prestigious academic and administrative appointments, Dr. Littlejohn has been an active member of numerous medical committees and organizations throughout his career. He has authored/co-authored over 20 research articles for publications and conferences such as JAMA and the European Congress of Rheumatology.
Dr. Littlejohn brings over 20 years experience as a primary investigator in clinical trials. Currently, with 350 on-going trials, PMG is enrolling research participants on behalf of all major pharmaceutical companies and many contract research organizations (CROs).
