TOMMY LITTLEJOHN, MD, PRESIDENT, TO PRESENT "EDC: eCRF & eSOURCE" AT THE CLINICAL TRIAL AGREEMENTS AND BUDGETS CONFERENCE
Winston-Salem, NC, March 24, 2009 – Dr. Tommy Littlejohn, President of Clinical Ink, LLC., has been invited to participate at the MAGI's conference Clinical Trials Agreements, & Budgets Conference, May 18-20. Dr. Littlejohn will present "EDC: eCRF and eSource".
As the number of EDC based trials continues to grow, research sites are increasingly frustrated by the burdens associated with EDC. While EDC in its current form brings many benefits, to truly disburden the research sites data must be captured and validated at the time of the initial visit. eSource rather than eCRF is what we need to satisfy both the sponsor and the sites.
"I'm pleased to have the opportunity to address the evolution of EDC from the site perspective. For too long, the requirements of site personnel have been overlooked and the result is fewer and fewer investigators taking part in research," said Littlejohn.
