Toke Christensen, MSc, PhD

With 20 years of experience across clinical development, digital innovation, and product leadership, Toke Christensen brings deep expertise in applying technology to improve and accelerate clinical development. In his role as SVP, Copenhagen Business Unit, he leads Clinical ink’s Copenhagen Unit and serves as general manager of Clinical ink Denmark.

Before joining Clinical ink in 2026, Toke held a series of senior leadership roles at Novo Nordisk, including Vice President of Patient & Site Technology and Vice President of Clinical Digital Innovation. Across these roles, he led teams and portfolios focused on patient- and site-facing digital solutions, decentralized trial capabilities, eCOA and eDiary, AI-enabled site selection, trial design, site collaboration, and operational data platforms.

With a background spanning clinical pharmacology, pharmacometrics, clinical reporting, and digital product development, Toke combines domain expertise with a strong track record of leading transformation in clinical research. He holds an MSc in Biomedical Engineering and a PhD in Machine Learning from Aalborg University.
